Francesca CARALLO

Born in Aradeo, lives in Lecce, where the papier mache, ancient art imported from distant places is by four centuries the center of its greatest expression in the realization of the works of sacred statuary. Artisan, designer and art director, her work is an exploration of the potential of the original paper, natural material par excellence that makes it soft and supple, giving the ability to create timeless objects. A work that expresses strength, lightness, transparency, dynamism and mutability of matter. A challenge that has greatly innovated the use and changing the look of this material, her works are thus placed in the spaces of contemporary living.

Her works has appeared in numerous national and international magazines like Architektur & Wohnen Germania, Vogue Casa, Ad Architectural Digest, and exhibited in numerous exhibitions, her collections of interior design have created spaces all over the world.
